Clinical Features and Complications of Measles



Rash:

Spreads downwards, from behind the ears to the whole Of the body. Discrete, maculopapular rash initially, becomes blotchy and confluent. May desquamate in the second week.



Koplik's spots: 

White spots on buccal mucosa, seen against bright red background. Pathognomonic, but difficult to see.
