Minimum qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine degree and formal training in public health at the Master's level or higher.
  • Completion of accredited residency/fellowship or equivalent.
  • 10 years of experience as a senior leader in community-level health/healthcare delivery programs.
  • 5 years of experience leading a public sector health department at the state, territorial, or national level.
Preferred qualifications:
  • Experience working in complex, ambiguous environments with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with healthcare providers and government health insurers.
  • Experience in public sector health technology and how it is used to improve the health of populations.
  • Experience taking a digital health product from concept to market or clinical use.
  • Experience as a national leader in public sector health.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $208,000-$306,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance, insights, and direction on health-related products and features for Google’s health-focused products, working with product teams.
  • Develop user-focused product requirements using understanding of the public sector health and healthcare environment and ecosystem.
  • Identify evidence-based practices and policies related to health for communities and consumers, and use these to influence product development.
  • Respond to the needs of the business and projects, prioritizing effort and leading on certain projects and contributing to others.
  • Serve as an internal and external representative for Google’s health-focused work in public sector health, climate and health, and mental health.
