 • Increased renal interstitial pressure

 • Hypoperfusion

 • Reduced renal blood flow

 • Tubular damage

 • Tubular collapse and hypertrophy

 • Sodium avidity

 • Increased AVP and Aldosterone activities

 • Diuretic resistance

 • ↑ Na+ reabsorption

 • Adenosine release

 • ↓ Cl- concentration

 • Increased CVP

 • Venous congestion

 • Reduced compliance
