PTH-mediated

 • Parathyroid cancer

 • Ectopic production: Small cell lung cancer, ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer, thymoma, Rhabdomyosarcoma, papillary adenocarcinoma of thyroid

Vitamin D mediated 1,25 - dihydroxyvitamin D - Increased renal and intestinal calcium absorption and stimulates resorption in the bone

 • Lymphomas

PTHrp Mediated - Stimulate calcium reabsorption in kidney, Stimulates resorption in the bone

 • Squamous Cell of lung, Renal Cell, Breast Cancer, HTLV-I lymphoma
