Summary to approaching classic symptoms of Imminent Death

 • Oral Secretions - Anticholinergics such as scopolamine

 • Dyspnea - Morphine, IV or SL, basal and bolus dosing

 • Pain - Morphine, consider PCA as well as scheduled SL/IV dose

 • Delirium Haldol if severe, avoid benzo use unless anxiety is part of delirium
