Separation of the cortical vitreous from the neurosensory retina posterior to the vitreous base

=> Posterior Vitreous Detachment

-> Perifoveal hyaloid detachment

-> Vitreous separation at macula

-> Widespread vitreous separation except at the optic disc margin

-> Complete PVD from the retina with the exception of the vitreous base
