Chronic Exertional Compartment Syndrome (CECS)

 • Diagnosis Of CECS requires patient to undergo the same exertional activity that causes pain prior to physical exam.

 • Diagnostic criteria for CECS are:

    a) 1 minute post-exercise pressure > 30 mmHg

    b) 5 minute post- exercise pressure > 20 mmHg

 • Normal resting compartment pressure 0-4 mmHg
