Paget’s Disease: Pathogenesis and Clinical Findings



 • Incr serum CTx - marker of bone resorption

 • Lytic bone lesions (mostly seen in pelvis, vertebral bodies, tibia, femur and skull)

 • Skeletal-deformities-  e.g. Skull involvement (T hat size), Bowed tibias, kyphosis and fractures

 • Incr serum ALP - marker of bone formation
