To and Fro Peristalsis in Small Bowel Obstruction (SBO) on POCUS



SBO POCUS - dilated small bowel loops > 2.5cm, dilated fluid-filled stomach, to-and-fro or whirling motion of the bowel contents. Look out for ischemia/infarction; may include wall thickening > 4mm, extraluminal free fluid between bowel loops, or aperistalsis.
