Propofol-Related Infusion Syndrome (PRIS)



Diagnosis is based on a constellation of clinical suspicion and biochemical signs including:

 • Hyperlactatemia

 • Metabolic acidosis

 • Rhabdomyolysis

 • Hepatomegaly

 • Hypertriglyceridemia

 • Hyperkalemia and renal failure
