Hypoglycemia Treatment with 15-15 Rule 



Here's a post about hypoglycemia, a simple review but very important for patient counseling. If feeling symptoms consistent with hypoglycemia, patients should immediately check their BG. If low, the 15/15 rule can help treat it. Intake 15 grams of carbs then wait 15 minutes before checking BG again. If BG is still low, they should intake 15 more grams and recheck BG
