Idiopathic Thrombocytopenic Purpura 

Clinical:

 • Gingival 

 • Menorrhagia 

 • GI bleeding 

 • Intracranial hemorrhage 

Management: 

 • Supportive (children) 

 • Platelets (only for severe bleeding or extremely low platelet count) 

 • Corticosteroids 

 • IVIG or anti-D immunoglobulin 

 • Splenectomy
