Ottawa Subarachnoid Hemorrhage (SAH) Rule:



The Ottawa SAH rule contains 6 clinical variables to consider:

- Age >=40

- Neck pain or stiffness

- Witnessed loss of consciousness

- Onset during exertion

- Thunderclap headache (instantly peaking pain)

- Limited neck flexion on examination
