Aortic Valve Nodules of Arantius on Echocardiogram



This is a parasternal short axis view at the level of the aortic valve on transthoracic echo. Central nodular thickening of aortic valve leaflet tips. Uncommon but interesting finding when seen— May lead to valve dysfunction or insufficiency.
