Myeloma: In this BM core, most plasma cells contain cytoplasmic immunoglobulin (Russell bodies).


They're difficult to identify as plasma cells because the nucleus is pushed to the periphery (signet ring-like) and the cytoplasm is not visible.


CD138 helps (same field is shown).
