Heparin Induced Thrombocytopenia (HIT) - 4T Score


The 4T score is useful to establish pre-test probability of HIT
0 to 3 points: Low probability (risk of HIT <1 percent) 
4 to 5 points: Intermediate probability (risk of HIT ~10%) 
6 to 8 points: High probability (risk of HIT ~50%)
