Clarke's Test (Patellar Grind Test)



Indicates Patellofemoral dysfunction.

 - Patient with knee in extension. Push posterior on superior pole of patella then ask patient to perform active contraction of the quadriceps muscle.

 - Positive sign: Pain is produced in knee.
