Striatal Toe Sign on Physical Examination



Extension of the first toe that occurs in extrapyramidal diseases affecting the striatum (hence the name…). AKA the Pseudo-Babinski sign as it occurs without plantar stimulation. This particular patient has Parkinson’s Disease.
