Positive Seidel (Fluorescein) Test - Aqueous Humor Leak after foreign body trauma



Proper identification of Seidel sign involves concentrated fluorescein (typically via fluorescein strip) applied to the suspected leak while examining under cobalt blue lighting. As the aqueous humor leaks out, it dilutes the highly concentrated fluorescein indicating a open wound.
