Eichhoff's Test in de Quervain's Tenosynovitis



1) Patient makes a fist with fingers wrapped around the thumb

2) Examiner stabilizes forearm and ulnar deviates the wrist.



Positive test = reproduction of patient's symptoms.  

Friction tendinopathy of the abductor pollicis longus and extensor pollicis brevis tendons.
