Parasternal Short Axis (PSAX) at the level of the Aortic Valve



Phased array transducer; parasternal short axis/indicator towards patient's L shoulder, footprint tilted towards R shoulder. 

This view helps assess for aortic stenosis, acuity of right heart strain (pulmonary acceleration time), might even see a saddle embolism!
