• Infantile Botulism
• Acute Flaccid Myelitis
• Guillain Barre
• Neonatal Myasthenia Gravis
Clinical Presentation
• Decreased ability to move muscles against resistance
- Weakness - ø active vs. Hypotonia - ø passive
• Obstetric & perinatal history is crucial
• UMN vs. LMN signs - Assess strength, tone, resistance, reflexes, sensation
• +/- other physical exam findings to narrow ddx
