Positive Throckmorton sign in a case of chronic osteomyelitis of the left hip. X-ray findings:

1) complete resorption of left femoral head

2) lytic and sclerotic changes noted in the left acetabulum, the outer margin of iliac blade and meta-diaphysis of femur
