 - TXA is an anti-fibrinolytic

 - TXA blocks lysine binding sites on plasminogen which is essential for binding fibrin → preventing activation of plasminogen to plasmin
 - TXA ultimately reduces fibrinolysis stabilizes the fibrin-rich clot
