Bladder hematoma causing ureteral obstruction
Male presents 1 day after ureteroscopy/stone extraction (5 mm distal uvj stone) with worsening lt flank pain.  No stent placed. Vitals stable/afebrile. Diagnosis?
Answer: Patient has hematoma obstructing distal ureter. Had cystoscopy performed and stent place. 

Some patients develop hematoma or edema at the UV junction. Consider pigtail ureteric stent in place for few days to allow edema to resolve.
