Pacemaker Placement Indications
Class I:
 • Third degree block
 • Advanced 2nd degree block
 • Symptomatic Mobitz I or II
 • Mobitz II + wide QRS
 • Exercise induced 2nd or 3rd degree block
Class II:
 • Mobitz II + narrow QRS
 • First degree AV block + hemodynamic compromise
 • Bi/Tri-fascicular block with syncope
 • Alternating RBBB/LBBB with syncope
Class Ill:
 • Syncope of unclear origin
 • Sinus brady/arrest, prolonged PR, Mobitz I without symptoms
 • RBBB + LaFB without sx/syncope
 • Reversible causes of AV block
