A - Adventure - Where did the patient travel? 
B - Body for syndrome: Undifferentiated fever illness, Respiratory, Gastrointestinal (Diarrheal vs. Non-diarrheal), Skin, Genitourinary, Other
C - Chronology - Time between travel/exposures to onset of symptoms (Period of incubation)
D - Defend - What vaccination/prophylaxis/medications did the patient receive? 
E - Exposure History - Animals, Vectors, Food/Water Consumption, Water Exposure, Ill Contacts
