Pacemaker Indications

Class I

 • Symptomatic sinus node dysfunction

 • 3° AV or type 2 2° AV block (regardless of symptoms)

 • Permanent a-fib with symptomatic bradycardia

Class II (a+b):

 • Symptomatic chronotropic incompetence

 • Symptomatic pronounced 1° or Type 1 2° AV block

 • Syncope of unknown etiology with sinus node dysfunction uncovered or provoked during EP study
