Pronator Drift (Pyramidal Drift) on Physical Exam



Testing showed pronator drift on the left side in this 70-year-old woman. The patient's eyes were closed during the 50-second test, because by eliminating vision, the patient must rely on proprioception alone to maintain the position of the arms.
