 • Baseline evaluation: CBC, BMP, LFTs, TSH, Glucose, CRP, ESR, LDH, UA

Most Common Causes:

 - Malignancy (19% to 36%)

 - Unknown (6% to 28%)

 - Psychiatric (9% to 24%)

 - Nonmalignant gastrointestinal disease (9% to 19%)

 - Endocrine (4% to 11%)

 - Cardiopulmonary (9% to 10%)

 - Alcohol-related disease (8%)

 - Infectious disease (4% to 8%)

 - Neurologic (7%)

 - Rheumatic disease (7%)

 - Renal disease (4%)

 - Systemic inflammatory disorders (4%)
